A small TV pilot is now casting several speaking roles in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Albuquerque, New Mexico this August and September 2020.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- [ZACH] 30 to 45 years old, African, Hispanic, Caucasian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Mixed Ethnicity male. Zach is the Head of a Mega Church. He has dashingly good looks and you wouldn’t pin him as a pastor if you saw him on the street. He is full of himself while still keeping himself cool, calm, and collected. Must have strong Improvisation Skills and Be willing to create and live in your own character. We will be open to changing dialogue based on what each talent brings to the table for the character.
- [MARTHA]] 40 to 50 years old, all ethnicities female. Martha is the assistant to the head of Church. She has her work cut out for her when it comes to reigning in this strong-minded Pastor and the staff. Must have strong Improvisation Skills and Be willing to create and live in your own character. We will be open to changing dialogue based on what each talent brings to the table for the character.
- [BOB] 45 to 60 years old, African, Black, Indigenous, Caucasian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Mixed Ethnicity, Filipino, North African male. Chief Financial Advisor at the church and Ron’s right-hand man. His is ex-military and brings that into his role as he keeps the church financials on the Up and Up. Must have strong Improvisation Skills and Be willing to create and live in your own character. We will be open to changing dialogue based on what each talent brings to the table for the character.
- [JESUS] 40 to 55 years old, Hispanic, Mixed Ethnicity male. Jesus is the church Janitor and Handyman. He acts as the eyes and ears within and outside of the church. This role requires strong comedic chops and the ability to use your imagination and improvisational skills to fully shape this strong character as he maneuvers amongst the group.
- [SAMANTHA] 25 to 40 years old, African, Hispanic, Pacific Islander, Black, Caucasian, Mediterranean, Filipino, North African female. Samantha struggles from an eating disorder and is larger than she wants to be but she owns it. Samantha is very loud and full of energy. She knows who she is and isn’t afraid to speak her mind except when her demons come to haunt her. This character requires strong improvisational skills, minor singing ability, and the ability for an actor to step into this role and make it theirs!
- [WILL] 40 to 50 years old, Pacific Islander, South Asian, Caucasian, Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, West Indies/Caribbean male. Husband to Cynthia and a faithful member of the congregation but not necessarily his heart.
- [CYNTHIA] 40 to 55 years old, Pacific Islander, South Asian, Caucasian, Mediterranean, Southeast Asian, Middle Eastern, West Indies/Caribbean female. Wife of Will. Member of the congregation who believes that the power of her faith will save her from her demons. Comedic Timing is a must and strong improvisational skills preferred.
- [SARAH] 45 to 60 years old, all ethnicities female. Strong and Boisterous. Sarah is the Church Receptionist. She strongly feels like a mother figure to all of the church staff and the church members. She knows everything about everyone within her family and holds many of their secrets. Must have strong Improvisation Skills and Be willing to create and live in your own character. We will be open to changing dialogue based on what each talent brings to the table for the character.

We are casting a small pilot project that will shoot for 2 days in Late August/Early September TBD Dates. Please see the attached breakdown of roles we are currently casting. At the moment we are looking for Non-Union Talent Only $125/day.

Storyline: This is a Character Driven Comedy about what happens behind the Curtain at your local church. For the Pilot we are looking for individuals with strong Improvisation skills who are willing to take a character and make it their own.
Those with agents we will release this breakdown to them pending some final information to be locked in.
