Casting directors are now casting talent to work on scenes filming in Wikinsburg, Pennsylvania this summer 2018.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- MINDHUNTER is currently looking for groovy African American men of all ages that would be willing to grow their hair and/or facial hair out for a very cool scene that will film this summer on location in Wilkinsburg this summer.
- We are casting other BG actors and actresses for this scene as well – but the special category of men who are willing to grow their facial hair/hair out is very important to us in order to sell this important scene that takes place in 1979.
About Mindhunter:
Catching a criminal often requires the authorities to get inside the villain’s mind to figure out how he thinks. That’s the job of FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench. They attempt to understand and catch serial killers by studying their damaged psyches. Along the way, the agents pioneer the development of modern serial-killer profiling. The crime drama has a strong pedigree behind the camera, with Oscar-nominated director David Fincher and Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron among the show’s executive producers.

Men of all races are encouraged to submit if they have great big 1979 style mustaches, sideburns (natural and untrimmed), long hair or are willing to grow their hair/facial hair. Photos, name, phone # and basic sizes will help us cast the perfect gentlemen!!
This is a critical scene in the series and we want to do it justice and make it as perfect and as real as we possibly can.
