Netflix’s ‘Hollywood‘ series by Ryan Murphy is now casting actors with 1930’s hairstyles in Los Angeles, California.
Casting directors are now hiring actors, models, and talent to work on Friday, November 8th for a fitting and this upcoming Monday and Tuesday in Los Angeles, California.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- MALES TO PORTRAY AGE 25 TO 50’S WITH HAIR THAT CAN BE STYLED INTO A 1930’S HAIRSTYLE
- YOU CANNOT HAVE EVER WORKED OR BEEN PREFIT FOR HOLLYWOOD.
- Hair needs a good 3 inches of length on top or short like a crew cut. Mustache is great, but you cannot have a beard. Must be willing to get a haircut and must be willing to shave clean – just in case. Must be 36 waist or smaller. YOU ABSOLUTELY CANNOT HAVE VISIBLE TATTOOS!!! EVEN IF YOU THINK THEY CAN BE COVERED.
About Ryan Murphy’s Netflix Series ‘Hollywood’:
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ryan Murphy’s new Netflix series centers around a period drama. Details about the show are unknown aside from the fact Murphy has called it a “love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.” Darren Criss stars in the series.
Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) will star in and executive produce Hollywood. “I’m heading back to the House of Murphy where I’ll be starring in but also executive producing HOLLYWOOD with Time’s King of Television,” Criss wrote on Instagram when breaking the news. “Late last year, @mrrpmurphy and I had dinner where he shared that he wanted to do a period piece that was young and optimistic. We landed on the idea of a series covering several narratives from 1940s Hollywood. We both left that evening feeling super excited about its potential. Two days later Netflix bought it. Not only is that a testament to the magic of Ryan Murphy, it’s a reminder of the kind of thing that can only happen in Hollywood…literally. Limited Series coming to @netflix May 2020.”
