Are you funny? NBC is now casting aspiring comedians

NBC has partnered with The Second City and is now seeking stand-up, solo, or sketch performers for the upcoming Break Out Comedy Fest. To apply email: [email protected] with a two-minute clip of you performing. Submissions close on March 27th. This news comes out after NBC is holding open casting calls for aspiring actors, a talent search for aspiring filmmakers, and the company is looking for aspiring writers.

About Break Out Comedy Fest:

The Second City teams with NBCUniversal to present a new comedy festival spotlighting some of the country’s best emerging talent in sketch, improv and stand-up. Daily Show correspondent Al Madrigal hosts on Friday, while Undateable cast member Ron Funches holds down the stage on Saturday, introducing a slew of rising talent from Chicago and beyond.
