MTV’s hit TV series is back. 16 an Pregnant is now casting young expecting mothers to appear in Season 6 on MTV.
According to Teen Mom Junkies there are reports that there will be several changes for Season 6. For instance, MTV producers will be following the girls for nine or more months instead of the ususal five months to better document the impact of having a child so young. In addition to a longer filming schedule, the network may be paying the young teen moms less in order to fight the stereotype that getting pregnant at a young age is a lottery ticket. It has been reported that each mom on the 16 and pregnant TV series was paid $5,000 to be on the show, which is not that much to begin with.
