Stephen King’s Mr. Mercedes is now casting detectives and street hockey players in Charleston, South Carolina.
Casting directors are now casting talent in Charleston, South Carolina. Producers are looking for people to play detectives, street hockey kids and teens, gardeners, and EMTs. The filming will take place between May 1 through May 5.
About Mr. Mercedes:
Mr. Mercedes, based on Stephen King’s 2014 book of the same name, follows a demented killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he is able to strike again.

MR. MERCEDES (Charleston, SC)
DETECTIVES -May need an additional 5 on Monday 5/1.
STREET HOCKEY KIDS/TEENS. – May need 2 -3 additional kids ages 12- 14 years of age. Some knowledge of Street Hockey (not ice hockey) May be needed Tuesday 5/2 and/or Wednesday 5/3. Let us know if you have ever played and if you have any gear.
MAIL MAN -Must fit uniform. May be needed Tuesday 5/2 and/or Wednesday 5/3.
2 GARDENERS/Landscaper Males -May be needed Tuesday 5/2 and/or Wednesday 5/3.
EMT’s -May be needed either Thursday 5/4 or Friday 5/5. May be evening hours. Must be ACTUAL or previously worked as EMTS.
