Caballero Casting is now looking for musicians and dancers to work on a scene in the new Roots remake now filming in New Orleans. Producers are looking for African American male musicians between the ages of 18 to 30 to work on the upcoming Roots scene.
In addition, casting directors are looking for dancers for a principle role in the upcoming Roots production.
Filming will take place on Saturday, December 19th in New Orleans, Louisiana.
About Roots:
A&E Networks is working on the Roots remake. The new mini-series will be a remake of the classic 1997 miniseries that traced a black family’s history from salvery on to the end of the Civil War. The eight-episode series, which has been in the works since 2013, will air simultaneously on The History Channel, A&E, and Lifetime in 2016.
