Warner Bros. new movie The Jade Earring starring Hugh Jackman is now hiring extras for a market scene in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Casting directors are now hiring actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming between Wednesday, November 13th through the 25th in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • SQUATTERS (Work Date: Wednesday 11/13): Seeking submissions for men and women who appear to be 20s – 40s (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work a downtrodden squatters and junkies in a small scene.
  • LOOTERS (Work Date: Wednesday 11/20 *OR* Monday 11/25): Seeking submissions for men and women who appear to be 20s – 40s (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work a rioters and looters in a futuristic dystopia.
  • CITY (Work Date: Thursday 11/21): Seeking submissions for men and women who appear to be 20s – 60s (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work as downtrodden city dwellers in a futuristic dystopia.
  • MARKET (Work Date: Friday 11/22): Seeking submissions for men and women who appear to be 20s – 60s (18+, any portrayable ethnicity) to work as shoppers at an outdoor market in a futuristic dystopia.

About “The Jade Earring”:

Principal filming will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana and Miami, Florida starting in October. Hugh Jackman will portray a veteran living in a future Miami flooded by rising seas who offers clients the chance to relive any memory. He becomes involved romantically with Rebecca Ferguson’s character, who is linked to a series of violent crimes.
