Daniel Kaluuya‘s Queen and Slim is now casting skateboarders in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Daniel Kaluuya’s new movie Queen and Slim is now casting kid and teen skateboarders for an upcoming scene filming on Friday, February 8th in New Orleans, Louisiana. Producers are looking for talents between the ages of 8 to 16 years old to work on the production. Talents will be compensated $125/day, if selected.
About Queen and Slim:
Get Out star Daniel Kaluuya is set to star in the indie romance drama Queen and Drama written by Lena Waithe. Waithe, who is known for her work on The Chi and Master of None, wrote the script based on an original idea from bestselling author James Frey and a story by Frey and Waithe. Queen and Slim started production in October with filming starting in January.
Queen and Slim is described by Variety as, “an exploration of America’s social and political climate through the lens of a genre-defying love story. The film centers on a black man and black woman who go on a first date that goes awry after the two are pulled over by a police officer at a traffic stop. They kill the police officer in self-defense and rather than turn themselves in, they go on the run.”
