Casting directors are seeking several women to portray female victims in the upcoming Amazon series “Bosch” based on the Michael Connelly’s novels and character Harry Bosch.
Deadline.com recently reported on the Amazon latest production “Bosch”
Amazon StudiosĀ is moving quickly to expand its original slate. After focusing on comedies and kids programming in its first batch of 14 pilots, five of which ā two comedies and 3 kids shows āĀ were picked up to series three weeks ago, the company is already setting its sights on the next target ā launching a drama series. Iāve learned that the streaming service has greenlighted its first drama pilot,Ā Bosch, a police procedural based onĀ Michael Connellyās novels about Harry Bosch, a veteran police homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. I hear the pilot was written by Connelly andĀ TremeĀ co-creator/executive producer Eric Overmeyer, who are executive producing with Fabrikās Henrik Bastin and Mikkel Bondesen. Bosch has been at the center of or featured in 20 novels by Connelly, starting with the 1992Ā The Black EchoĀ and most recently, last fallāsĀ The Black Box. This marks Fabrikās second pilot order in the past month. The company is also behindĀ The Comedians, starring Billy Crystal, at FX.
But this is not the first production by Amazon. Earlier this year, Amazon ordered and produced a pilot for a ZombieLand webseries spinoff which was filmed in Atlanta.
Regardless we will keep you updated on all casting calls and opportunities for this new production. Stay tuned.
