Lin Manuel Miranda‘s “In The Heights” movie is now casting extras in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to attend an open casting call in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Seeking Washington Heights residents to appear as extras in the upcoming feature film ”IN THE HEIGHTS”. Seeking people to play NYC / Washington Heights neighbors – men, women, and children.
About “In The Heights”:
In the Heights is a musical with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Hispanic-American neighborhood of Washington Heights in New York City. The upcoming movie star Stephanie Beatriz, Corey Hawkins, and Jimmy Smits.

Be prepared to have a digital picture taken.
Filming June-September in NYC.
Please note, casting paid extra/background roles.
If cast, must be able to present valid, unexpired ID to fill out Federal I-9 form.
