The producers for Empire are now casting an African American male actor to work as a stand-in tomorrow through Friday in Chicago.
They are looking for an African American male about 6’0 to 6’2 and approximately 170 to 185 with black hair.
The series centers on the world of a hip-hip empire. The drama will feature original and new music. Terrence Howard was recently cast as the lead role in the series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Howard will play Lucious Lyon, the head of a record label, in the drama from The Butler‘s Daniels and Strong. Lucious is described as charismatic, tough, wise and a superstar in the music industry who oversees Empire Entertainment and is about to take the company public. Raised on the streets, he has never backed away from a fight and will resort to any measures, fair or foul, to defend his beloved Empire.”
