YouTube‘s Karate Kid is now casting several featured roles in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are seeking talent to work on scenes filming between October 4th and October 18th in Atlanta, Georgia. Producers are seeking the following types:
- 14-22 year olds to portray HIGH SCHOOL students
Ages: 14-22 ONLY
Looking for cliques: nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, outcasts, athletes, stoners, preps, etc. Think The Breakfast Club! - REAL Skateboarders
With own boards
Ages: 15-22 - REAL police/military men
Ages: 20-55
Please include level of experience in military/law enforcement - REAL mechanics or men who work on cars to portray mechanics in high end dealership. REAL working hands/blue collar types.
Ages: 20-50 - Hispanic men and women
Ages: 18+ - Men and women for country club scene
Ages: 30-55
Upscale types, MUST have nice clothing/high end attire.

About Karate Kid:
IMDB reports the new TV series will be set 30 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament.
“The series focuses on Johnny Lawrence reopening the Cobra Kai dojo, which causes his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso to be reignited,” the plot description on IMDB says.
The show will feature Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, who will reprise their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The 10 episode series will premiere on YouTube Red in 2018.
