The Glorias starring Julianne Moore is now casting speaking roles.
Telsey and Company Casting are now casting speaking roles for the upcoming feature film The Glorias. Producers are looking to cast the role of “Dolores Huerta”.
According to the casting call, casting directors are looking for female actresses ages 40 to 50 years old, Hispanic to play a Chicana woman with ten children. She is an activist with the United Farm Workers and speaks on the streets of New York on behalf of the grape pickers’ strike. Based on the real Dolores Huerta.

The feature film The Glorias is based on the book My Life on the Road by Gloria Steinem directed by Julie Taylor. The actor must be available to shoot mid-February, 2019.

Oscar-winner Julianne Moore will play feminist icon Steinem with fellow-Oscar winner Alicia Vikander in talks to play the activist between the ages of 20-40. The movie, based on Steinem’s memoir, will follow her journey to become a crusader for equal rights and her groundbreaking work as a journalist and campaigner. The Ms. magazine founder’s story has added resonance in this Time’s Up and #MeToo era. The production is in discussions with a host of Hollywood A-Listers to join the project. (Deadline)
