HBO’s new series “Lovecraft Country” produced by Jordan Peele is now casting multiple roles in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on different dates this July 2019.

Seeking fierce African American and Hispanic drag queens to appear in full gagging attire. Please provide us with a resume of your work/performances and photos of yourself in and out of makeup (videos of live performances will help as well). Because this is a period piece (set in the 1950s) our Hair and Makeup teams will help you adjust your looks to match the period. We are looking for gentlemen who do this for real and know how to carry themselves with the grace and femininity of a woman while remaining campy and charismatic.

Seeking African American MALES who can play instruments from a 1940’s/1950’s era club band. Please list your instrument and all experience and training that you have. Video of yourself playing will also be helpful. You will have to learn a song for the scene, so you must be able to play and read music.

Seeking African American and Hispanic MALES and FEMALES to portray club goers at a 1940s/1950s LGBTQ speakeasy nightclub. Imagine something straight out of The Great Gatsby: big band swing music, suit and tie, shimmering dresses. Also seeking real life gay and lesbian couples and those willing to be paired up.
About “Lovecraft Country”:
Lovecraft Country is an upcoming drama horror television series based on Matt Ruff’s novel of the same name. It is set to premiere on HBO. The series is produced by Monkeypaw Productions, Bad Robot Productions, and Warner Bros.
Lovecraft Country follows “Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.”
