The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting junkies in New York City.
Grant Wilfley Casting is looking for actors, models, and talent to work on an upcoming episode of James Franco’s The Deuce, which is filming in New York City. Producers are looking for men and women to play junkies, alcoholics, and homeless types. Filming will take place on July 27th and 28th. Fittings are scheduled for Tuesday, July 26th in NYC.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. JamesFranco will play both twins in the new HBO series.
