Native Son starring Sanaa Lathan is now casting talent in Chicago, Illinois.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Chicago, Illinois on November 14th and 15th.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Wednesday, 11-14-18 ~~ 2 extras exterior scenes
in Chicago (will play a couple-if *real couple), note in your submission. 20–30 years old, Caucasian. - Thursday, 11-15-18 ~~ 4 extras at the train station in Chicago. Could be waiting for a train or riding the train for a long period of time. Any Race/Gender. Must be at least 18 years old or older.
About Native Son:
According to reports, A24 has acquired the rights to Native Son, a movie-adaptation of the Richard Wright novel. Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks has written the movie script and artist Rashid Johnson will direct the project, which will take place in the present day in Johnson’s hometown of Chicago.
Margaret Qualley (Novitiate, The Nice Guys), Nick Robinson (Love, Simon, Jurassic World), KiKi Layne (Barry Jenkins’ upcoming If Beale Street Could Talk) and Bill Camp (The Night Of) are also set. Matthew Libatique (Black Swan, Straight Outta Compton) is the reported director of photography on Native Son.
Wow! This should be good. NATIVE SON movie filming in Ohio is shooting here in Chicago next week. We only need a total of 5 total extras so we will be submitting from those we already worked with on this (to know your dependability and professionalism).
