Chicago Casting: Bryan Cranston’s ‘Electric Dreams’ Casting Call for Cops

Bryan Cranston’s new TV series Electric Dreams is now casting cops in Chicago, Illinois.

Bryan Cranston’s new TV series “Electric Dreams” is now seeking talent to play police officers for roles filming in Chicago, Illinois.  filming will take place between April 26 through May 9. Casting directors are looking for people to play police officers and between the ages of 25 to 55.

About Electric Dreams:

Amazon has picked up Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams (fka Electric Dreams: The World of Philip K. Dick), a 10-epiosde sci-fi anthology series from Ronald D. Moore, Michael Dinner, Bryan Cranston and Sony Pictures TV. The show, based on short stories by the award-winning novelist.

Each episode of Electric Dreams will be a stand-alone based on Dick’s shorts stories as adapted by a writers room made up of British and American writers. Joining Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) and Dinner (Justified) as writers are Tony Grisoni (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas), Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Matthew Graham (Doctor Who), David Farr (The Night Manager), Dee Rees (Bessie) and Travis Beacham (Pacific Rim).

TENTATIVE SHOOT DATES: WED., 4/26 & THU., 4/27, MON. 5/8 AND TUE., 5/9 (FIRST TWO DATES HAVE TO REPEAT FOR MATCHING)
SHOOT LOCATION: CHICAGO
RATE: $84/8 – MAY BE BUMP FOR REAL POLICE OFFICERS
NON-UNION EXTRA ROLES:

1) POLICE OFFICERS, MALE/FEMALE, ANY ETHNICITY, AGE 25 – 55

1) Please put POLICE OFFICER OR REAL POLICE OFFICER as the name of the subject line.

2) Name, age, height, weight, measurements (you may have to co me in for wardrobe fitting), phone number, email and zip code.

3) Please submit two photos – close up and full body. If you have a photo of yourself in uniform/costume from another show (or real uniform), please submit that as an additional photo.

4) Please confirm if you are a real police officer – if so, give us a brief description of your professional experience.

5) Confirm your mode of transportation to set.

6) Please confirm all the dates from above that you are available to work.
