HGTV is casting the second season of “Brother vs. Brother,” as well as a brand new renovation competition series. Casting will take place Oct. 13 in Manhattan.

“For ‘Brother vs. Brother' we're looking for: Passionate, charismatic individuals who have major hands-on skills, an eye for renovation and real estate know-how,” says casting associate Darlene Gilbertie. So: contractors, carpenters, interior designers, architects, real estate professionals, artists and those with design expertise.

For the new renovation competition series, the casting directors are looking for: “Dynamic , or members with big dreams and a love for renovation and design.” Meaning: Handy teams of two who think they have a superior eye for design. Although home renovation experience is a plus, it is not required.

Applicants for the competition show should bring a resume, two recent pictures of the teammates and, if applicable, a minimum of six photos of renovation projects or rooms you have redesigned. Everyone must be 18 years of age or older, too.
