HBO’s The Deuce is now casting for background actors to play Higher Education students in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Thursday, May 31st in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWC is seeking NON-UNION, Ages 20s-30s, to portray 1970s Male & Female Latino, Caribbean, African American, Afro-Caribbean, South American Higher Education Students for work on HBO’s series, THE DEUCE.
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

-NO visible tattoos
-Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke
-Must have 1970s appropriate hair or be able to provide a wig (NO buzzcuts, shaved heads, shaved sides, edging, fades, braids, dreadlocks, highlights, weaves, etc. Ideal length for men is 2in-5in afro, ideal length for women is above shoulder length!)
