HBO Vinyl is looking for background extras to work on an upcoming scene filming in New York City.
HBO casting directors are looking for African American and Hispanic actors in their 20s to 30s to play skinny junkie types for a scene filming on Wednesday, October 14th in New York City. All actors that are selected must be available for a fitting on Monday, October 5th.
According to Variety, the show will be depicted through the eyes of Cannavale’s Richie Finestra, a record exec trying to build a record label and find the next new sound. Olivia Wilde is set to play Devon Finestra, Richie’s wife and former actress/model who attempts to deal with the Richie’s crisis as it causes strain on their family and relationship. Martin Scorsese is set to direct the pilot, which is written by Terence Winter of “The Wolf of Wall Street” and George Mastras from “Breaking Bad” with Mastras working as the show runner.
