The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting college students in New York City.
HBO’s The Deuce is now casting college students in New York City to work on the new TV series. Fittings are scheduled for Wednesday, August 10th and works on Thursday, August 11th. Casting directors are looking for actors to play 1970s type of college students so, producers are looking for “Men must have at least 1.5 inches in hair length. NO shaved heads, buzzcuts, shaved sides, dreadlocks, etc.”
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.
