WGN’s Underground season 2 is now casting slaves in Savannah, Georgia.
Marty Siu Casting is looking for African American women to play slaves for a scene filming on Sunday in Savannah, Georgia. Producers are looking for 5 African American women between the ages of 18 to 40 to play slaves. Background actors need to be local to Savannah GA, or can work as a local (meaning you have local friends/family that you can stay with) as production will not pay for travel.
About Underground:
‘Underground’ follows a group of slaves who plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to cross 600 miles to freedom, aided along the way by a secret abolitionist couple running a station on the Underground Railroad, as they evade those tasked with bringing them back, dead or alive.

UNDERGROUND: For SUNDAY (very short day… you’ll start mid day and wrap around sunset), we need the following background actors:
*5 AFRICAN AMERICAN ENSLAVED WOMEN (you MUST be a new fact to our show), AGES 18 – 40.
If you can join us for this half day on Sunday, we need for you to please arrive at our production office TODAY for a wardrobe fitting. Please apply asap and we’ll schedule your fitting time.
Pay rate: $68/8.
