Oprah Winfrey networks’ OWN series Love Is is now casting movie theater patrons in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting director are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Monday, April 9th and Tuesday, April 10th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Movie Theater Patrons: Males and Females, any Ethnicity, 20’s to 60’s looking age range, nice attractive look and attire, must be a new face to the show, meaning you have NEVER worked on “Love Is_” No visible tattoos.
- Bar Patrons: Males and Females, any ethnicity, 20’s to 30’s looking age range, nice young hip attractive look and attire, must be a new face to the show, meaning you have NEVER worked on “Love Is_” No visible tattoos.
About OWN’s Love Is…:
The series centers around the love story between a modern-day power couple. In the world of Black Hollywood, they navigate a complex set of social codes, and this series will explore it all, from the good to the bad and to the ‘90s when the love story began.
Weaver will play Nuri, a bubbly personality with big dreams who is struggling to make a name for herself as a sitcom staff writer while struggling an assortment of romances that only leave her party fulfilled. After she meets Yasir, himself unemployed and barely holding onto his dreams, Nuri changes all her opinions about what she expects from a man because she’s just found the one who is perfect for her.
Yasir is an aspiring writer-director who is down to his last two unemployment checks and lives (unhappily) with his on-again/off-again ex. But after meeting the stunning Nuri, Yasir finds a reason to alter his life and the drive to access his potential.

Brandi is looking for background actors for the show “Love Is_” for two scenes working Monday April 9th at the Plaza Theater of Ponce Highlands in Atlanta. One scene is set in a Movie Theater, and the other scene is set in a Bar. The show is set in the late 1990’s, so everyone submitting must have a look and style (including hairstyles) that would work for that time period.

This is a matching two day call, working Monday 4/9 and Tuesday 4/10, you must be available BOTH days.
