Nat Geo’s ‘Genius: Aretha’ casting call in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on December 11th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- CHURCH CONGREGATION: Male and Female who can portray African American, ages 18-85, conservative. This scene takes place in 1967. Natural colored hair and no modern styles, short hair on men. Men-can have small tidy mustaches but no goatees or beards. Male sizes up to 48R only. Ladies-clean, unpainted fingernails only. (No artificial nails. No coffin, stiletto, square, or french style), No lash extensions at all! You will be sent home and not allowed to work if you show up with inappropriate hair, facial hair, nails or eyelashes. Ladies sizes 0-14 only.
About ‘Genius: Aretha’:
According to Deadline, the third season of the Nat Geo series will center around Aretha Franklin’s musical career and her impact on the culture. The Grammy Award-winning singer was a gospel singer and outspoken civil rights leader who is considered to be one of the biggest singers in the last 50 years.
