Nat Geo’s ‘Genius: Aretha’ casting call for hip party guests in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on Monday, December 16th in Atlanta, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- HIP PARTY GUESTS: Male and Female who can portray African American, ages 20s-50s, attractive, hip, stylish – a mix of Socialites, Artists, “Hep Cats”, Entertainers & Musician types, Influential Business types. These scenes take place in 1953. Natural colored hair and no modern styles, short hair on men (NO braids or Locs). Men-can have small tidy mustaches but no goatees or beards at all-clean shaven. Male sizes up to 46R only. Ladies sizes 0-14 only. NO visible tattoos. Ladies-clean, unpainted fingernails only. (No artificial nails. No coffin, stiletto, square, or french style), No lash extensions at all! You will be sent home and not allowed to work if you show up with inappropriate hair, facial hair, nails or eyelashes
About ‘Genius: Aretha’:
According to Deadline, the third season of the Nat Geo series will center around Aretha Franklin’s musical career and her impact on the culture. The Grammy Award-winning singer was a gospel singer and outspoken civil rights leader who is considered to be one of the biggest singers in the last 50 years.
