Halt and Catch Fire is now casting Atlanta extras for a coffee shop scene.
AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire is back in action and casting directors are now casting a ton of roles.
Casting directors are looking for attractive women in their 20’s to 30’s to play 1980s types. In addition, casting directors are looking for extras to play soccer fans and coffee shop extras. Also, AMC casting directors are looking for extras to work on an Italian restaurant scene.
About Halt and Catch Fire:
Halt and Catch Fire centers around one year after IBM all but corners the market with the release of its first major product – the IBM PC. In this fictional drama, a former IBM executive, Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace) plans to reverse engineer the flagship product of his former employer and forces his current company, Cardiff Electric, into the personal computer race.

For this coming Thursday 3/10 we are looking for an attractive female – 20’s to 30’s — MUST have hair we can style to portray 1986 so no modern styles of dyes – natural color around shoulder length is great but it can vary a bit — send a clear recent headshot AND a clear close up pic of your hands – we’ll see hands very well in this one — LADY WITH NICE HANDS in Subject
Then all of the rest below are for the following week — we are looking for some hispanic men and women to portray soccer fans in a small coffee shop – men and women 20’s to 50’s — and also looking for a hispanic male and female – late 40’s to 70’s to portray the owners — for all please send at least two recent photos — COFFEE SHOP in Subject
Looking for some some girls — 18 – late 20’s various looks — all to play 1986 — normal everyday looks, some more nerdy looks and some punk rock looks to portray some main characters girlfriends – GIRLFRIENDS in Subject
Some men and women 30’s to 60’s to portray classic Italian Restaurant staff — ITALIAN RESTAURANT In Subject
All of the these are for the upcoming season of Halt and Catch Fire set in 1986 — So pictures that have your current hair style and facial hair for guys are very important — also we’re always looking for people that are close but willing to alter their hair — guys and ladies with some length to hair that are cool with a trim — Guys with goatees that would shave to a mustache – you get the idea
