Disney’s Just Beyond is now casting, actors, models, and talent in Atlanta, Georgia.
Just Beyond is an upcoming American horror-comedy anthology series created by Seth Grahame-Smith and is based on Boom! Studio’s graphical novel of the same name by R.L. Stine for Disney+.
In early May 2020, Disney+ ordered eight episodes based on R.L. Stine’s graphic novel Just Beyond attaching Seth Grahame-Smith to write and work as the executive producer. David Katzenberg, Stephen Christy, and Ross Richie also attached to executive producers and Stine working as co-executive producer with KatzSmith productions and 20th Century Fox Television acting as the studio behind the project. Filming started in Atlanta in March 2021, with director Marc Webb directing the series’s first two episodes. The new series is expected to hit Disney+ by the fall of 2021.

What is the plot of Just Beyond?
Just Beyond was created by Graeme-Smith, who is the author of the bestselling novels Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and screenwriter of Tim Burton’s Dark Shadows, The Lego Batman Movie, and The Saint for director Dexter Fletcher and star Chris Pine.
“I grew up watching Twilight Zone reruns and the original Amazing Stories with my parents,” Grahame-Smith told Deadline. “I’ve always wanted to make a genre anthology series that families could enjoy together, and do it in a way that delivered for kids and adults alike. R.L. Stine has been a part of millions of childhoods, and Disney+ has already proven itself as a place that knows how to make high-quality shows for the whole family. I couldn’t be more excited to be working with both of them.”
