Amazon Studios Emergency is now casting talent in Atlanta, Georgia.
Sabrina Carpenter, RJ Cyler, Donald Elise Watkins and Sebastian Chacon are leading the cast in Amazon Studios’ Emergency. The upcoming feature film is described as a comedy thriller from Amazon Studios and Temple Hill.
The movie is based on a short film of the same title. The short film received the Special Jury Prize at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival and the Grand Jury Award at 2018’s SXSW Film Festival
What is Emergency about?
The movie centers around a group of BIPOC college studios getting ready to party as they weigh the pros and cons of calling the police when faced with an unusual emergency.
Emergency Cast:
Cyler will play Sean, a college senior who is getting ready for a night of partying with his best friend Kunle (Watkins) and roommate Carlos (Chacon). As they return to their apartment to get ready, the discover a semi-conscious white girl they don’t know on the floor. Kunle wants to call the cops but Sean opposes the idea concerned how it will look when the cops show up.
Together Carlos, Sean and Kunle load the girl into Sean’s van, with the intention of taking her somewhere safe instead of calling the police. Meanwhile, Maddy (Carpenter) releases her sister Emma left the party and beings to search for her in a drunk panic by following Emma’s phone location. What happens is a dark-comedy chase over town the trio grapples with the challenges of bringing Emma to safety.

NOW CASTING PAID CAUCASIAN, COLLEGE STUDENT TYPE EXTRAS for Monday, May 24 to Thursday, May 27 ON A NEW FUN and EXCITING, AMAZON MOVIE “EMERGENCY”, FILMING IN ATLANTA.
We are casting the following:
College Students – EXTRAS (AGES 18 TO 35) CAUCASIAN, with a Young, College Freshman looks, to be a part of a fun party and classroom scene for our new AMAZON project filming here in Atlanta, GA.
The rate for this scene will be: $100/8 as these scenes may/may not shoot overnight.
You will be paid time and a half for any overtime. There will also be an extra $25 car bump if you are booked with a car!
Filming of this movie will take place from Monday, May 24, 2021, to Monday, May 27, 2021.
Testing is a NASAL PCR and you will receive an additional $20 COVID TESTING BUMP on your voucher the day you report to set for any test taken with us. You can also send results if you had a test within 5 days of the filming date.
Covid testing details are below:
Thursday 5/20 or Friday 5/21 (times TBA)
Payments for all work will be received in the form of a check in the mail 2 to 3 weeks after filming.
