FOX’s new TV series The Exorcist is now casting extras in Chicago, Illinois.
4 Star Casting is currently casting actors, models, and talent to appear in the new Fox TV series The Exorcist. Filming will take place in Chicago, Illinois and casting directors are casting a ton of featured roles.

FATHER TOMAS ORTEGA (Alfonso Herrera, “Sense8,” “The Chosen”) is the new face of the Catholic Church: progressive, ambitious and compassionate. He runs a small but loyal parish in the suburbs of Chicago. He has no idea that his quiet life is about to change forever. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, another priest finds himself locked in a life-and-death struggle with evil. FATHER MARCUS BRENNAN (Ben Daniels, “Flesh and Bone,” “House of Cards”) is a modern-day Templar Knight, an orphan raised since childhood by the Vatican to wage war against its enemies. Father Marcus is everything Father Tomas is not: relentless, abrasive and utterly consumed by his sacred mission. Caught in the middle is the RANCE family, members of Tomas’ parish. On the surface, they’re a normal, suburban family, but all is not as it seems in this household.
The patriarch, HENRY RANCE (guest star Alan Ruck, “Spin City,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”), is slowly but surely losing his mind. Eldest daughter KATHERINE (Brianne Howey, SCREAM QUEENS) has become a recluse who refuses to leave her room. Her younger sister, CASEY (Hannah Kasulka, “The Fosters”), thinks she’s hearing strange noises coming from inside the walls. And mother ANGELA (Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Geena Davis, “Commander in Chief,” “Thelma & Louise”) has been plagued by recurring nightmares, each more frightening than the last. Angela believes there is something in the house, a demonic presence, growing stronger by the day. Desperate, she begs Father Tomas for help, unwittingly setting the naïve young priest on a collision course with Father Marcus. NOTE: We are starting up prep for “The Exorcist” Season 1 and we do not have a shooting schedule yet, though we would love to get a head start on what we know is needed in the first couple episodes. Please submit if your availability is generally open for a 1 day or multiple day shoot. Please also list if you have your own transportation.
We are not taking general submissions at this time, so please ONLY submit if you fit the specs of the following extra roles.
NON-UNION EXTRA ROLES:
1) ORPHANS: Boys, Caucasian, Age Range: 12-14 years old. We are looking for boys that are comfortable being portrayed as orphans and have a “European” look. MUST have a valid IL Work Permit through 4 Star Casting or a local talent agency. MUST attach work permit in submission.
2) UPSCALE HOTEL PATRONS: Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 25-65. We are looking for upscale/posh looks. These are ladies you enjoy lunching with friends or business men who are on a business lunch with clients at a posh hotel. You MUST submit photos of you in upscale/posh/business attire. Men should be in suits, women should be in upscale attire.
3) HOTEL SECURITY: Male, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 21-65. We are looking for fit men or men that can pull off this role. You MUST submit your clothing measurements (Suit Jacket Size, Neck/Sleeve, Pants Width/Length, and Shoe Size).
4) HOTEL DOORMEN: Male, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 21-35. You MUST submit your clothing measurements (Suit Jacket Size, Neck/Sleeve, Pants Width/Length, and Shoe Size).
5) PAPAL EMISSARY: Male, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 21-75. These are messengers or delegates that represent the pope and are his “entourage” of men. You MUST submit photos of you in a business suit.
6) POWER SUITS: Male/Female, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 21-65. You MUST submit photos of you in a nice suit.
7) TEEN BASKETBALL PLAYERS: Male, African American, Age Range: 16-18. You MUST be a real basketball player with experience and must be comfortable playing basketball in the scene. Please list your experience in your submission and attach and photos of you playing or in basketball attire.
8) PARISHIONERS THAT WORKED PILOT: Did you work in the Pilot as a Parishioner and are you still interested in working on the show? We will need CURRENT photos of you with your current look.
9) REAL LACROSSE COLLEGE TEAM: Female, Any Ethnicity, Age Range: 17-26. We are looking to cast a Lacrosse Team or individual players to work on the show. We are looking for REAL Lacrosse players that would be comfortable playing in an upcoming scene. We are looking for a full team of girls to submit together or you can submit individually. Players MUST portray college age – please list your experience in your submission. RATE: $150/8
