Family Guy is an animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane for Fox Broadcasting company. Family Guy aired their first episode in 199, and since then has debuted over 150 episodes and has had over 10 seasons.
The show is centered on the dysfunctional, and often times crazy Griffin family, Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, and Brian, the family dog. The show is set in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island, and often times paradoes American culture, in the form of cutaway skits, and tangential vignettes.
The show was created by MacFarlane in 1995 while studying at the school animation at the Rhode Island School of Design. Since, those humble beginnings the show has been nominated for over thirteen Emmy Awards, and four wins.
