Filming for “Warcraft” Movie Has Finished Shooting

Date:

Filming for the upcoming Warcraft movie has finished shooting.

Director Duncan Jones has announced the news on his Twitter page and according to The Wrap, filming lasted 123 days.

Warcraft is set to hit theaters on March 11, 2016, but the movie is “done” yet. Principal photography is just the start of the production process. The movie still requires a ton of post-production work. The Award winning Star Wars effects studio “Light & Magic” is leading the post-production process, in an effort to bring the “Warcraft world to life.

Legendary Pictures and Blizzard Entertainment are keeping the plot and storyline details top secret. Their are no movie trailers for movie yet, but, according to recent reports, the movie will center on the origins of the battle between Orcs and Humans, and a movie trailer maybe released in time for Comic-Con in July.

According to Legendary Pictures producer Thomas Tull, the Warcraft movie is not just for fans of the game. It will have “big, universal themes” that should appeal to a broader audience, he says.
