Ed Helm’s ‘Vacation’ Remake Casting Call for families in Atlanta, Georgia
Tammy Smith Casting is looking for families to work on the ‘Vacation’ remake starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate.
Ed Helms stars in the New Line Cinema reboot of the Vacation film series asRusty Griswald, the son of Chevy Chase’s iconic character of the original four films. Vacation stars Ed Helms and Christina Applegate and Horrible Bosses‘ directors’ John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein write and direct.
Casting directors are looking for Caucasian men and women ages 35 to 50 for selection to be parents of a young girl in a car driving next to the movie’s lead family.
Filming will take place on Wednesday, September 24th in Atlanta, Georgia. The dad in the scene will be driving the car so the male talents must be an experienced, solid driver.

Casting for CAUCASIAN MEN and WOMEN, ages 35-50 for selection to be parents of a young girl in a car driving next to our lead family.
IMPORTANT NOTES
NOTE 1: The DAD will be DRIVING the car so the male candidates MUST be an experienced, solid driver or even a precision driver!! – you will receive an add’l $ bump for being the Dad/driver in the scene.
NOTE 2: This works WED 9/24, during the daytime, but we need to present photos asap for the directors to make their selections ASAP

INCLUDE:
CURRENT PHOTOS (please include at least two- one that shows face and hair well (NO hats or sunglasses or other people/kids please) as well as one that is from the knees or waist up) -.
A CLEAR photo that was taken recently, in good light, that shows you pleasant and nice casual, is best..with either a pleasant smile or non-smiling pleasant expression.

*** AND, IF you are MALE , you MUST then list your driving experience in a few sentences under your stats, for this submission. This is for safety reasons! We will ONLY be presenting solid drivers to the director to choose the DAD so PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE!
*** IF you are part of a real couple and you are both submitting, feel free to reference your other half in your email, however we cannot guarantee that both will be presented or selected.
This will film/shoot in ATLANTA and you must be willing to work local here as an extra. The basic pay for extra work on this project is $64 for 8 hrs with overtime after that. There is add’l $ for driving.
