‘Down & Out’ Webseries Casting Call in Los Angeles

Date:

‘Down & Out’ Web series Casting Call in Los Angeles, California.

Down & Out is a slice-of-life comedy about three women who stumble out of the closet and navigate their way through lesbian limbo w the help of their self-appointed “fairy” godfather. Rae: Lead, Female (35 – 45) Asian, butch lesbian with a heart of gold. She’s faux-hawked and fit w/ a dry sense of humor. Sam: Lead, Male (45 – 65) Sassy and crass, judgemental but fun. Handsome, somewhat fit, but no specific type – character is more important than looks in this case. We’re shooting the first episode to use it for crowdfunding (an LGB-Teaser if you will), meaning the first episode is unpaid, but compensation will be in the budget for subsequent episodes. Shooting starts the second week of July. We’ve got a great producer and director on board, and some fantastically funny actors, we’re just waiting on YOU!
