Disneyland Greeter Nearly Killed After Getting Stabbed

Disneyland greeter was stabbed after an argument.

The victim was taken to the hospital after getting stabbed.

A man, who goes by the name Birdman, was working in Disneyland greeting visitors to the park with parrots was stabbed during an argument on Sunday evening.

According to CBS Los Angeles, “They were in some type of argument and the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim several times.”

Following the incident, witnesses contacted the police and were able to keep the man in sight while waiting for officers to arrive. The suspect, Tony Diep, 54, was arrested 100 yards away from the crime scene and has been charged with attempted murder. Both Diep and the victim are homeless.

The Orange County Animal Control officer was called to take care of the parrot.

The Disneyland greeter is expected to survive and he was not a Disneyland employee.
