CW ‘Mr. Box Office’ Pilot Casting Information

Mr. Box Office is a new pilot, created by Byron Allen. Mr. Box Office will follow the success of Tyler Perry sitcoms House of Payne and Meet The Browns and Ice Cube’s Are We There Yet? Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios has just strated filming Mr. Box Office, a pilot for a comedy series starring actor and comedian Bill Bellamy. Mr. Box Office is a new series that will attempt to achieve over 104 episodes over two years will include Tim Meadows, Vivica A. Fox, Rick Fox, Keisha Knight Pulliam, Jon Lovits, and Gary Busey.

Sources have indicated that the show will air on CW-affilated stations. Mr. Box Office was written by Byron Allen and Scott Satin, and centers on A-List actor Marcus Jackson, one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but after starting a fight with the paparazzi, he finds himself putting his acting career on hold and work on a community service project teaching underprivileged high school kids in South Central, California. Rick Fox will play a physical education teacher, and Vivica Fox is slated to play a history teacher. Allen and Satin are scheduled to be executive producing the project.

This project is still filming and they are currently looking for actors for various roles.
