Columbia Sportswear is now casting talent for an upcoming photo and video campaign in Portland, Oregon
Columbia Sportwear casting directors are now casting, actors, models, and influencers to work on scenes filming in Portland, Oregon this early January 2022.
Producers are seeking and hiring the following types:
- Plus Size hikers (all genders) age 18+. We’d especially like to meet some plus-size men! All hiking skill levels welcome, enjoying the outdoors is most important for this role.
- Advanced Skiers age 18+. Especially women and BIPOC skiers.
- Advanced Hikers age 18+
- Advanced Trail Runners age 18+
- Kid age 6-12 who love skiing and/or hiking. Especially kids who can ski!

WHO WE NEED
We need outdoor enthusiasts for a photo + video shoot for Columbia Sportswear.
We’re looking for:
- Plus Size hikers (all genders) age 18+. We’d especially like to meet some plus-size men! All hiking skill levels welcome, enjoying the outdoors is most important for this role.

- Advanced Trail Runners age 18+
- Kid age 6-12 who love skiing and/or hiking. Especially kids who can ski!
You must live in Oregon, Washington, or Colorado to apply. Talent age 5+ must be fully vaccinated (unless you have a medical/religious exemption) to be hired.
No professional acting/modeling experience is needed to apply, dance skills are the most important factor. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking direction.

PROJECT INFORMATION
ADVERTISER: Columbia Sportswear
TYPE: Commercial video + photo shoot

SHOOT LOCATION: Oregon and Colorado. We are only considering talent who live in Oregon, Washington, or California.
SHOOT DATES: 1-3 days between Mon Jan 24th – Fri Feb 11th (exact dates TBD)
Please do not apply if you have any immovable conflicts on the dates listed (going out of town, etc.) Your schedule should be flexible enough to work any dates during this range as needed. Please do not request work off or clear your schedule unless requested to do so via email (we will give you as much notice as possible).
PAY IF HIRED: $1,500 per day (1-3 shoot days)
Pay includes your hours worked and the usage of your image by the advertiser.
USAGE: Unlimited, in perpetuity
REPRESENTED TALENT: If you have a talent agent, the pay rates + usage terms will be different. Please see Casting Networks, Casting Frontier, or your agent for confirmed rates.
HIRING REQUIREMENTS: Must live in OR, WA, or CO and be legally eligible to work in the US. Must comply with all COVID19 protocols. Talent age 5+ must be fully vaccinated including available boosters, pending medical/religious exemptions.
COVID19 CONSIDERATIONS: The casting process will be 100% remote. There will be no in-person auditions or callbacks. Please only apply if you would feel safe working during COVID19 given the information below.
- Production will follow all CDC and OMPA guidelines
- All cast + crew age 5+ must be fully vaccinated (including available boosters) in order to be hired, pending medical/religious exemptions.
- Note that as on-camera talent, you will sometimes be asked to remove your mask, for active photography and makeup application. You may be in a group scene.
DEADLINE TO APPLY: 11:59pm Thursday 1/13. Late submissions are accepted on a rolling basis.
