Cinemax New Series ‘Quarry’ Open Casting Call in Memphis, Tennessee.
Cinemax is holding an open casting call in downtown Memphis, Tennessee for the new series ‘Quarry’. Casting directors are looking for extras 18 and over to play various roles in the new TV series. The open casting call is this Saturday, July 25, 2015from 10:30 am – 1:30 pmat the Spring Hill Suites, 85 Court AvenueMemphis, TN 38103–The Renaissance Room on the 3rd Floor*
Quarry centers around a series of books by Max Allen Collins, the project centers on a Marine marksman who, upon returning home from Vietnam in 1973, finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. The disillusioned vet is quickly recruited into a network of contract killers and corruption spanning across the Mississippi River.
Quarry is written by Rectify writer Michael D. Fuller and Graham Gordy. John Hillcoat (Lawless, The Road), meanwhile, serves as EP and director of the pilot, with Keith Redmon (Awake), Steve Golin, David Kanter and Matt DeRoss exec-producing, as well.

BATHERSON CASTING SEEKING BACKGROUND ACTORS 18 AND OVER
Batherson Casting, a New Orleans based film and television casting company (Terminator Genysis, Fantastic Four, Django Unchained, Popeyes & Chobani National Campaigns) is coming to Memphis to hold an Open Casting Call for the HBO/CINEMAX produced series, “Quarry.”
Although headquartered in New Orleans, “Quarry” will be shooting in Memphis for several days this summer as a client of The Memphis & Shelby County Film and Television Commission and The Tennessee Film, Entertainment and Music Commission.
Set in the 1970s, “Quarry” is a drama based on the book series. Batherson Casting is seeking BACKGROUND ACTORS 18 AND OVER to play various types- but a 70s look (such as hairstyle) is very much preferred.

*You need bring nothing but yourself, but coming looking appropriate for the early 70s is definitely helpful.

Featured Roles Casting Call
Batherson Casting is also seeking background actors who can portray African- Americans with the 1970s look for the HBO/CINEMAX produced upcoming series, “Quarry.”
These background actors would film July 30th (you must be available ALL day as film hours are long, often 13-14 hours).
For this scene we are especially seeking those who can portray African Americans 18 and over to play bar patrons. You must also be available for a wardrobe fitting Monday, July 27th and you must not be larger than a size 12 (for women) and a pant waist 36 (for men) or Jacket size 46 (for men).
