NBC’s Chicago PD is now casting protestors in Chicago, Illinois.

NBC’s Chicago PD is now casting actors, models, and talent in the Chicago area to work on several scenes in an upcoming episode. Casting directors are looking for protestors, church congregators and other featured roles. Filming will take place between Tuesday, November 29 through December 1st.

NBC’s Chicago PD centers on the Intelligence team located at the District 21 of the Chicago Police department. This team fights the city’s major offenses including organized crime, drug trafficking, and high profile murders.

**NBC’s Chicago PD – Background Extras Casting Alert**

IMPORTANT EPISODE/SCENES NOTE:
The following scenes revolve around high-energy crowd/angry mob/protest sequences outside of a church that is housing this episode’s suspect. This will be a struggle between parishioners and victim sympathizers. These scenes may require a lot of background interaction/choreography on the day of. Please do not submit for these roles if you are uncomfortable with the scenario or if you have any physical limitations and/or pre-existing health conditions that may be triggered by moderate physical activity.


SUBMISSION TITLE: “FAITHFUL FLOCK”
ROLES: Core Group of Church Parishioners: African American Females/Males, Age: late 20s-70s,
FILMS: 2-3 MULTI-DAY BOOKING: (some people will be selected for 2 days, some to work all 3). Tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 29th, Wednesday, Nov. 30th and Thursday, Dec. 1st. These dates are still unofficial & subject to change; Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Seeking African America Females/Males, Age: late 20s-70s, to play Church Parishioners that barricade the police & protesters from entering the building. Applicants MUST be available for multi-day booking, for continuity purposes. Must also be willing to work only EXTERIOR (outside) scenes. Some extras will be booked with their vehicles to look like neighborhood parking. Those selected must also be available to attend a mandatory wardrobe fitting prior to the film date (Schedule has not been set yet; but most likely either Tues, 11/23 or Mon, 11/28), during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.
PAY RATE: Each day worked: $84 for up to 8 hours of work and time and one half for anything after 8; IF fit before the film date = +$25 Fitting Bump added to your first day of work; IF booked with your vehicle = +$35 Auto Bump added to each day car is booked for.


SUBMISSION TITLE: “CLERGYMEN”
ROLES: Church Pastors: African American and Caucasian Males, Age: late 40s-60s,
FILMS: 2-DAY BOOKING: Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30th and Thursday, Dec. 1st. These dates are still unofficial & subject to change; Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Seeking African American & Caucasian Males, Age: 40s-60s, to play Church Pastors that barricade the police & protesters from entering the building. Applicants MUST be available for multi-day booking, for continuity purposes. Must also be willing to work only EXTERIOR (outside) scenes. ROLES: Tough Guy friends of cast member: Caucasian Males, Ages: 20s-30s
FILMS: 2-DAY BOOKING: Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30th and Thursday, Dec. 1st. These dates are still unofficial & subject to change; Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Caucasian Males, Ages: late 20s-30s, tough guy appearance, to surround a cast member during a protest/mob scene. Applicants MUST be available for multi-day booking, for continuity purposes. Must also be willing to work only EXTERIOR (outside) scenes. Those selected must also be available to attend a potential wardrobe fitting prior to the film date (Schedule has not been set yet; but most likely either Tues, 11/23, Mon, 11/28, or Tues, 11/29), during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.

ROLES: Protesters/Pro-Victim Supporters: Caucasian & Hispanic Females/Males, Ages: 18-70s,
FILMS: 2-DAY BOOKING: Tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 30th and Thursday, Dec. 1st. These dates are still unofficial & subject to change; Applicants must have a flexible schedule to accommodate any schedule changes.
SPECS: Caucasian and Hispanic Females/Males, Ages: 20s-70s, to play protesters/pro-victim supporters. Applicants MUST be available for multi-day booking, for continuity purposes. Must also be willing to work only EXTERIOR (outside) scenes. Some extras will be booked with their vehicles to look like neighborhood parking. SOME people may be asked to attend a potential wardrobe fitting prior to the film date (Schedule has not been set yet; but most likely either Tues, 11/23, Mon, 11/28, or Tues, 11/29), during the day, at Cinespace Film Studios.

*Please have your submissions in over the weekend, before the morning of Monday, Nov. 21st; as we will be showing your photos to the Director on Monday to pick the core groups. **Booking emails will not go out before Monday evening.
