NBC’s Chicago Fire is now casting African American kids ages 7 to 8 years old to work as a stand-in on an upcoming episode.

Chicago Fire is created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and produced by Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, the show follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department at the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25.

Casting Alert! Searching for an African American boy or girl, 7/8 years old who can work as a standin (same height and coloring as actor to use to light and block the set), on “Chicago Fire” starting next week. If you can work multiple days send a recent color photograph with your child’s height (without shoes), weight, age, phone number, city and state to [email protected] and put “Kid SI” in the subject line. You will need to obtain a Joan Philo Casting work permit. If you have a work permit send it in along with the photo. Please send in photos ASAP.
