Casting directors are now casting featured roles for scenes filming between July 20th through the 31st in Chicago, Illinois. Producers are looking for toddlers, kids, background actors, and other featured roles to work on the new TV series.

About The Chi:

Executive produced by Common, The Chi is a relevant, timely and distinctive coming-of-age story and follows a half dozen interrelated characters in the South Side of Chicago.

ROLE: NON-UNION EXTRAS
SHOOT DATES: 7/20/17 – 7/31/17 (May include some weekends)

LOCATION: CHICAGOLAND

Seeking the following featured roles for picture pick selection by director:

TODDLER – RATE: $150/8
Male, African American, Age 12 – 36 months old. Will be held by his older sister when she answers the door. Must include a scanned copy of your child’s work permit in the submission.

WILD BOYS – RATE: $88/8
Male, African American, Age 16 – 25. Young toughs working their way up. They rep this block.

QUENTIN’S GUYS – RATE: $88/8
Male, African American, Age 25 – 50, What Wild Boys want to be when they grow up. As big as the house they protect.

TONK PLAYERS – RATE: $88/8
Male, African American, Age 20 – 60. Dudes chilling in the park, playing a friendly game.

OMAR – RATE $88/8
Male, Middle Eastern, Age 20 – 30, The doorman of a dark warehouse with a gun in his belt.

TIRE SHOP BOSS – RATE $88/8
Male, All Ethnicities, Age 30’s – 50’s, Popping busted rims in a busted repair shop.

MIDDLE AGED WOMAN – RATE $88/8
Female, African American, Age 35 – 50, Very good looking, Flirting with the devil in the Chicken Pit.

1) In the subject line put the role(s) you are submitting for ie: TODDLER, WILD BOYS, QUENTIN’S GUYS, TONK PLAYERS, OMAR, TIRE SHOP BOSS, or MIDDLE AGED WOMAN. You may submit for multiple roles in a single email.

2) In the body of the email include your: name, age, height, weight, phone number, email, and zip code on your Driver’s License or State ID.

4) Attach one current full body photo and one headshot. Dress for the role you want! Give us something new and fun for the files instead of the same old pics.
