According to reports, the team behind Jane the Virgin are rebooting Charmed.
The CW is reportedly working on a reboot to the hit Charmed series. The drama is being described by The Hollywood Reporter as a reimagining of the original TV series set in the late 1970s. The reboot will connect to the original series in some way, but not entire sure at this point.
The writers behind Jane the Virgin created the story and the script will be written by Jessica O’Toole and Amy Rardin.
The Charmed reboot comes more than three years after CBS announced plans to remake the original series, which ran for eight seasons from 1998 to 2006 and starred Shannen Doherty, Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan.
