Cartoon Network Casting Call

Casting for Cartoon Network’s video series celebrating Asian-American/Pacific Islander Heritage month

Cartoon Network is looking for excited, talented kids to be part of our “filmed at home” video series celebrating Asian-American/Pacific Islander heritage month.

We understand the importance of keeping your families safe and stopping the spread of COVID-19.  Therefore, instead of filming in a traditional studio, we will work with parents to film their children at home and submit those videos to us, so we can create a video that shares your stories with the world.

We’re looking for kids who are:

  • Asian-American/Pacific Islander youth, aged 5-15
  • Comfortable and dynamic on camera
  • Active in their school or community
  • Active in performing arts, music, drawing, photography, etc.
  • Comfortable sharing stories about family history & what their culture means to them.

The final video will be featured on Cartoon Network’s television channel and also on social media, and parents of the selected participants will be asked to sign and submit an on-camera release granting Cartoon Network rights to use their child’s video.

Digital Audition Instructions:

  • Parents or legal guardians can submit the following in order to be considered:
  • A short paragraph telling us about your kid and why they would like to be a part of the series
  • An introduction video showing us your kid’s great personality
  • Videos of your kid showcasing their talent, special skills, or abilities
  • Best contact information for parent or legal guardian.

Videos can be shot on a cell phone, and we will reach out with tips/guidelines once selected. Submissions must be sent to [email protected] and by early April 2020. This is a paid engagement.

Thank you for helping us celebrate Asian-American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month. We look forward to hearing from you!
