A Walmart commercial is now casting real customers in Quebec, Canada.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Quebec, Canada this November 2020.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • Walmart customers (and their family, if applicable), age 18+, across Canada.
  • Looking for a variety of stories about how people save money by shopping at Walmart, and how that savings helps them or others.

  • Open to all stories, but some examples are:

    • – Parents who use the money they saved by shopping at Walmart to buy toys for their kids.

    • – A condo security guard who buys dog treats at Walmart to give dogs in the building.

    • – A person who shopped at Walmart for birthday decorations to surprise their roommate.

    • – A person who buys extra food with the money they saved to donate to shelters.

CASTING REAL PEOPLE

CASTING WALMART CUSTOMERS ACROSS CANADA FOR A TOUCHING TV COMMERCIAL!

We are seeking Walmart customers (and their family, if applicable), age 18+, across Canada. We are looking for a variety of stories about how people save money by shopping at Walmart, and how that savings helps them or others.

We are open to all stories, but some examples are:

– Parents who use the money they saved by shopping at Walmart to buy toys for their kids.

– A condo security guard who buys dog treats at Walmart to give dogs in the building.

– A person who shopped at Walmart for birthday decorations to surprise their roommate.

– A person who buys extra food with the money they saved to donate to shelters.

PLEASE NOTE:

– Strict COVID-19 safety protocol will be adhered to during the production of this commercial and it will be produced in accordance with public health guidelines at the time of filming. For more information, please visit: https://www.cpat.ca

– This is an ACTRA 706C project. No acting experience is required, however you should be comfortable in front of a camera.

– Applicants MUST be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.

– If shortlisted, you MUST be available on the week of November 16th or 23rd for a brief online interview (Zoom) with the director. You will only be interviewed on one day and for a maximum of 15 minutes.

– If selected, you MUST be available for filming between December 1st to December 15th. You will only be required for 1 day of filming, but must keep all dates available until booked.

– If selected for this project, you (and each family member featured) will receive $750 for the filming day (session fee). Additionally, you will receive $2,000 if you are in the final TV commercial and $1,250 if you are in the final online video. If filming occurs at your home, you will receive $1000 as a location fee. If family members are used as “background”, they will receive a flat fee of $500.
