Metal bands casting call for real estate commercial in South Africa.
Jigsaw Casting is now casting for real metal bands for an upcoming real estate commercial filming in South Africa. Producers are looking for people that match the following roles:
- PP or SOC Metal Band: Looking for a real male metal band of 4! Age range is 30’s-50’s. We’re looking for long hair, tattoos, makeup, etc. Think Iron Maiden, Kiss or Judas Priest. Some of members might have deep, scary voices but they also might sound like friendly people. We are also open to accepting individual musician submissions to create a band.

Roles
PP or SOC Metal Band: Looking for a real male metal band of 4! Age range is 30’s-50’s. We’re looking for long hair, tattoos, makeup, etc. Think Iron Maiden, Kiss or Judas Priest. Some of members might have deep, scary voices but they also might sound like friendly people. We are also open to accepting individual musician submissions to create a band.
NOTES REGARDING PASSPORTS: A Passport valid for at least 6 months past the return date, should have at least three blank pages, two that are adjacent. Please advise of anyone who has a passport other than a Canadian passport. Any cast member will need to procure an S11 Visa prior to travelling. We will provide the necessary paperwork, and instructions, but you will need to apply in person at the South African Consulate here in Toronto, and be required to leave your passport behind while it’s being processed. Processing time is 5 business days or less.
*Pays approximately $1500 + travel per individual if selected

1. Everyone’s names, ages and instrument they play. Also please tell us a bit about your band.
2. Photo(s) of everyone (Where we can clearly see your face. Ideally no hats or sunglasses).
3. Any band links you would like to share (website, YouTube)
3. Your primary contact information (phone number & email address) *If you are a represented actor, please include your union status, resume & your agent’s contact information
4. Please write ‘PROJECT METAL BAND’ in subject line of e-mail, along with your band name. (E.G. PROJECT METAL BAND- Iron Maiden)
Submissions are due by: Monday, January 16th at 9am (However the earlier you submit the better!)
You must be available for these key dates:
AUDITION: January 17th
RECALL: January 19th
TRAVEL: To Cape Town February 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Travel home February 10th
SHOOT: February 7th, 8th or 9th in Cape Town, South Africa

*You must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen to participate
