CBC’s Small Talk casting call for kids in Toronto, Ontario.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Tuesday, February 13th, 2018 in Toronto.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Kids: Ages 5-12. We are looking for interesting personalities and faces. Kids who say the zaniest things! Makes you say, “how did you even think of that???” Pure personality and opinion.

Jigsaw Casting Ltd. Is Seeking Outgoing, Insightful Kids For CBC’s Small Talk!
Description:
The show is about Kids, for Kids by Kids as our host Dave Keystone sits down with a variety of spirited youngsters to chat about a variety of topics that cover both the serious and silly! Shot beautifully in the Canadian countryside, Small Talk takes the kids out of the traditional studio setting and into nature for fun, insightful, completely unscripted, candid conversations. It’s the show that gives kids the voice they’ve been looking for!
Roles:
Kids: Ages 5-12. We are looking for interesting personalities and faces. Kids who say the zaniest things! Makes you say, “how did you even think of that???” Pure personality and opinion.
*Pays approximately $500 per child, if selected
Details & Submission Information:
If interested, you must submit in order to be considered.
Please email the following to: [email protected]
1) Your child’s name, age and a bit about their personality.
2) Photo(s) of your child (Where we can clearly see their face. No hats or sunglasses)
3) Parental guardians primary contact information (including name and phone number) *If your child is a represented actor, please include their resume & agent’s contact information.
4) Please write ‘SMALL TALK’ in subject line of email, along with your child’s name and age. (E.G. Small Talk – Jenny Beck – age 8)
Submissions are due by: Friday – January 26th at 9am.
(However the earlier you submit the better your chances!)
You must be available for these key dates (in Toronto):
AUDITION: Saturday – January 27th or Monday – January 29th, 2018 (after 3:30pm)
SHOOT: Tuesday – February 13th, 2018
*Kids would be required for a couple of hours on the shoot day not including travel to and from set.
WEATHER DATE: Thursday – Feb 15th, 2018 (TBD)
