Are you a Toronto’s Black community member and passionate about sharing your story? The CIBC Foundation wants to hear from you! As part of an ongoing campaign directed by the award-winning Hubert Davis, the CIBC Foundation seeks several individuals between the ages of 20 and 40.
Whether you’re entering your chosen profession or have already established your career, we want to hear your experiences. We’re looking for individuals from various industries with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Additionally, we’d love to hear from individuals in finance, marketing, education, business, and health.
The campaign aims to highlight the process and preparation involved when looking for a job while showcasing the available resources and support systems to help individuals succeed. The CIBC Foundation believes everyone should have access to these resources, and we want to share inspiring stories from members of the Black community.
The compensation for selected candidates is $4,000.00 per person, and this is a non-union project. Submissions must be made by May 5, 2023, at 9 am EDT; the earlier, the better. If selected, candidates must be available for a Zoom recall on May 8, 2023, and a pre-shoot in-person interview on May 15, 2023, in Toronto. The shoot day will be May 16, 2023, and it will only be for one day in Toronto.

Seeking Members of the Black Community for a CIBC Foundation Campaign in Toronto!
As part of an ongoing campaign, the CIBC Foundation is looking for members of the Black community to share their stories. Directed by award winning Hubert Davis, this documentary style campaign explores the process and preparation involved when looking for a job.
- We are looking for several members of the Black community –
- candidates between the ages of 20 and 40,
- who are either in the process of entering a career in their chosen profession, or
- who are already established in their chosen profession.
This campaign aims to highlight different types of industries, while prioritizing science, technology, engineering and mathematics. We would also like testimonials from the following areas: finance, marketing, education, business and health. We are doing this campaign because we believe that everyone should have access to the resources and the support they need.

Compensation is $4,000.00 per person, if selected to participate in this campaign.
Deadline to submit: May 5, 2023 at 9am EDT. The sooner the better:)
