$3,000+ caregiver campaign casting call: Seeking seniors and adults with Down Syndrome for the heartwarming project in Toronto!
Are you a senior aged 65 to 85, or perhaps an adult with Down Syndrome between 25 and 35 years old? If so, we have an incredible opportunity for you! A caregiver campaign in Toronto is currently searching for talented individuals to be part of an inspiring project that aims to celebrate the bond between caregivers and their loved ones. Read on for all the details and how to apply!
Role 1: Adult with Down Syndrome
We are looking for an adult with Down Syndrome, aged 25 to 35, regardless of gender. If you have a real caregiver or a sibling over 18, we encourage you to submit together! This is a wonderful chance to showcase your unique talents and share your story.
Role 2: Female Seniors
Female seniors aged 65 to 85 are also invited to join this heartwarming campaign. If you have a daughter or caregiver who would like to apply alongside you, please submit together. While it’s a bonus if you can play the piano, it’s not a requirement. Another scene is available for those who don’t play the piano but still want to be part of this special project.
Role 3: Male Seniors
Attention, male seniors aged 65 to 85! If you have a natural caregiver who would like to apply with you, this is your chance to shine. It’s important to note that there will be a scene involving a dog, so please ensure you don’t have any fear or allergies to dogs.
Selected individuals will receive compensation based on a per-person rate, which includes a wardrobe fee of $100.00 and a session fee of $600.00. Additionally, there is a buyout fee of $3,000.00 for 3 years of online/social media and VOD/streaming worldwide usage. The buyout fee for a 3-year regional broadcast in Oregon is $2,250.00. An option to upgrade to a 5-state region is also available for an extra $500 + 15% (Oregon, California, Washington, Idaho).
The deadline to submit your application is Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 10 am EDT. Please make sure you are available for the following dates in Toronto: Recall In Studio on Friday, June 9th, 2023, wardrobe on June 21st, 2023, and the shoot on June 22, 23, or 24, 2023 (exact day to be determined).

We are looking for the following roles:
