BuzzFeed is now casting families in Toronto, Ontario.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Toronto, Ontario this October 24th.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Looking for:
One parent with his or her child. Parent: Mom or dad, ages 38 – 46. Child: Boy or girl, ages 8 to 12. Pairings can be of any variety, as long as one parent and one kid are featured: can be mom and daughter, mom and son, father and daughter, etc. - Seeking Parent and Child for a Toronto BuzzFeed non union video: ‘Kids and Parents Compare their imaginations with lego.

Seeking Parent and Child for a Toronto BuzzFeed non union video: ‘Kids and Parents Compare their imaginations with lego.
This unscripted BUZZFEED video aims to showcase and celebrate the boundlessness of a child’s imagination by having them build lego with their parents.
Looking for:
One parent with his or her child. Parent: Mom or dad, ages 38 – 46. Child: Boy or girl, ages 8 to 12. Pairings can be of any variety, as long as one parent and one kid are featured: can be mom and daughter, mom and son, father and daughter, etc.
We want kids who have a natural affinity for building with their hands and familiarity with doing so using LEGO. They should read as genuine, dynamic, inquisitive, and conversational on-screen, with natural humour from their unfiltered responses. We want their parent to read as loving, good-natured, and warm.

*Pays approximately $250 per person if selected. No Audition or previous acting experience required. We will book through self tape only.

Self tapes instructions:
Please submit a self-taped, unscripted audition no longer than 2 minutes in length. ONLY the kid and parent auditioning should be present in the video (i.e., do not include other family members). Parents and kid can respond together to the following prompts:
1) Tell us both of your names and ages to introduce yourselves.
2) Kids – Tell us about how you play with LEGO at home! What do you like to build/do?
3) Parents: What are your memories of playing with LEGO as a kid?
Kids should also respond individually to one of the following prompts:
– What’s the best or coolest dream you’ve ever had?
– What do you want to be when you grow and why?
– What’s your favourite animal and why?
Please write ‘BUZZFEED’ in the subject line of your email, along with your family name (E.G. BUZZFEED – The Wong family)
Submissions are due ASAP or before OCTOBER 16 at 9am!
You must be available for the shoot date in Toronto:
October 24, 2018.
