Casting directors are now casting talent to work on ABC ME TV series in Sydney, Australia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Full Time TV host / reviewer / writer – for News To Me, a good news, pop culture and entertainment show for kids featuring interviews, reviews and viral videos.
- Part Time TV host / reviewer / writer (approx. 2 days pw) – for Break the Future, a future news show for kids revealing and reviewing the latest, greatest, and craziest future inventions from around the world, and beyond!
About ABC ME:
ABC Me is an Australian children’s public digital television multichannel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It was officially launched by then-Prime Minister Kevin Rudd on 4 December 2009 as ABC3.

ABC ME Casting Call
i4 Casting is currently casting for TV hosts / reviewers / writers for work with children’s television broadcaster ABC ME during February – June 2018.
ROLES: Full Time TV host / reviewer / writer – for News To Me, a good news, pop culture and entertainment show for kids featuring interviews, reviews and viral videos.
Part Time TV host / reviewer / writer (approx. 2 days pw) – for Break the Future, a future news show for kids revealing and reviewing the latest, greatest, and craziest future inventions from around the world, and beyond!
Our successful hosts will have great comic timing, the ability to talk under water, a professional attitude, be good with deadlines, have great team spirit and appeal to the youth market.
Additional skills including basic filming, editing, and social media skills are advantageous!
We are casting Australia wide but our successful applicants will be Melbourne based for the duration of the shoot so those outside of Melbourne must be willing to relocate.
HOSTS MUST:
Be Melbourne-based, or willing to relocate
Have an understanding of what 8-12 year olds are interested in
Have knack for comedy and natural delivery
For the good news / pop culture show – have an interest in pop culture and news
For the future news show – have expertise and / or an interest in technology, science, inventions & futurism
Be able to help research & write content that you will present
